With the record label of Bis Music label and for sale in all stores in the country, "Amor Deluxe" is the new proposal of the artist who, since its launch on digital platforms, was positioned on the cover of Boleros Pop in Spotify Mexico and rose to the top of the iTunes lists, showing the musical and interpretive quality of the Cuban artist.
“After many years of career, I felt it was time to make a kind of reverence to the music with which I grew up, with which I trained as a human being, as a woman, as a musician, as a daughter and then I started doing a selection of my father's music, a challenge because besides that it is very enough, it is a work that I know, and I wanted to be able to enjoy together some of his best known songs and others that are not so many, but they are beautiful”, Haydée Milanés expressed during the presentation of her album at Salón de Mayo del Pabellón Cuba.
Since its release to the market, the album has achieved remarkable acceptance in a prestigious sector of specialized criticism in Latin America and the public, who does not fail to notice the lyricism of each of the songs, now studied and presented from various sounds by the experienced Haydée Milanés.
In Amor Deluxe, “I have guests such as Julieta Venegas, Lila Downs, Francisco Céspedes, Pedro Aznar, Edgar Oceransky, Pavel Núñez, Ibeyi, Omara Portuondo, Carlos Varela, Rosalía León, Chico Buarque, Silvia Pérez Cruz, Fito Páez and Joaquín Sabina, In total there are 16 collaborations and I am very happy with this album because I feel proud of the work I did”, she told us.
At the same time, she recognizes that “it was a challenge to be able to gather all these artists and choose the song for each one, and of course where we were going to record, for example, Sabina did it from Spain and thanks to technology we were able to join our voices”. She also declared that she agreed to be "very happy for the result and because my father loved it, and that was very important".
The final is a double album with some of the best representatives of music in Latin America and the intention is to honor the work of Pablo Milanés including and adapting the music to a wider spectrum of genres with the vision and contribution of each guest.
In August 16 they will present this album live at Salón de Mayo del Pabellón Cuba where the artist will also exchange with her followers and sign some CDs.
