Havana, Cuba. - “I began in the radio as assistant and scriptwriter; first in the bygone “Señal 5.” Then, already with two years of experience, I was asked to direct that show, which I did for more than five years, earning recognition and winning prizes. Later on, I directed other shows, like “El Vigia”, “Contigo”, and “Paradiso.” I'm currently directing “Paginas del alma” and “La rumba no esta completa.”
The qualities of a radio broadcast director must be permanent interest to expand his/her knowledge of the media; endless research and self-preparation. He/she must stay abreast of current affairs; be open to emerging currents and variants and know how to choose the best one. Other features of a radio director are discipline and example to the staff and workmates.”
